Rather Outdoors is looking for a full time, motivated, Human Resources Assistant, based in Columbia, SC, to add to our growing team.

This position will provide support to employees for both HR and Office needs.

Essential Functions:

HR Assistant Job Duties:

  • Leave of Absence Administration
  • Payroll maintenance and back up
  • Employee file maintenance
  • Recruitment and hiring initiatives - Job postings, resume screening, background checks
  • Support the onboarding of new employees
  • Generate reports and metrics as needed

Office Coordinator Job Duties:

  • Greet visitors and vendors, direct them to the appropriate location
  • Maintain office supplies, mail, and UPS/FedEx shipping processes
  • Partner with facility maintenance on any building maintenance needs
  • Support executive team with meeting and office preparations
  • Maintain a safe and organized entrance area

Qualifications:

  • Team player with a high level of dedication and integrity
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Experience in HR (1+years)
  • Experience in general office coordination (1+ year)
