Essential Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage all Creative Services projects, accounting for project timelines, budget and resources required.
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide clear and concise direction.
  • Recruit and assess new talent, both full-time and contract positions.
  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the greater Marketing team.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience for all brands.
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Present completed ideas to clients/team members.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the creative team across multiple mediums.
  • Produce and present sketches, storyboards and/or rough concepts to visualize ideas.
  • Plan and direct photo shoots.




  • Proven ability to manage both budget and resources/staff on both an annual and project-by-project basis.
  • Proven working experience as Art Director and/or Sr. Graphic Artist.
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
  • Hands on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design.
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and/or wire-framing tools.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Photography experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications skills.
  • Fishing or Outdoor Industry experience preferred.
